After reading your fine notes on the 2012 left bank wines, it seems clear to me that 2010 simply dominates 2012. For example, based on your notes, 2010 GPL seems a better wine than any FG in 2012, and GPL is much cheaper.
Absent special occasions in 2012 or a desire to maintain verticals, doesn't it seem that it is a better buying plan to pick up some of the ample remaining supplies of 2010 (or perhaps other older vintages) than it is to buy any 2012 EP?
