Do you think oilboy is Duncan?

I have had every one of these. Wish I had kept them now. Interestingly, I was looking in a storage area in our Chicago home that we are selling, and found my collection of empty SQN bottles, most of which are depicted in the winebid lot. I used to have them displayed at one time. Wonder what those are worth?

Jackpot! Just checked Cellartracker - turns out that out of 165 bottles of SQN that are still not consumed, I have one bottle left of The Other Hand from 1995. That may be on the docket for consumption soon.

Clearly an inferior collection. Where are all the Pinot Noirs and sweet wines?

Yep - guilty as charged, I am indeed OilBoy of TX. There's a few of these I would love to get, we'll have to see what happens on this auction - prices a little crazy already......

That Queen Of Hearts is certainly a rare bird! I only know of two bottles still in existence and Manfred mentioned already that one is in his possession. That Hospice du Rhone is certainly special. Sad that I'm down to my last bottle Whoever is auctioning this is either a long time list member or spent a lot of time and money pulling together the collection. I have my suspicions but good for whoever scores the bottles! I, unfortunately, am on the sidelines these days with the new brewery but am happy to have a ton in the cellar that I'm consuming very regularly these days. Best of luck on the Queen Duncan!

Good Lord, that is outrageous. I can't understand why someone with means wouldn't buy that big lot. There are some great rarities in there. That Inaugural Grenache and the On-your-toes alone are probably worth 20% of the whole deal. Yet $ 16,000 for a single bottle of rose. Very peculiar
