  • TN: 1985 Georges Lignier Clos Saint-Denis

The aroma is a pile of autumn leaves that start to smoulder just after they’re set alight. There’s also a distinctive smell of Indian spice. In the mouth it is sweet and textured with a real savoury edge. The finish dries off just a tad but the whole package improves and shines with the introduction of pot-roasted guinea fowl.
    Cheers
