  • TN: 1999 Giaconda Chardonnay (Australia, Victoria, North East, Beechworth)

    • 1999 Giaconda Chardonnay - Australia, Victoria, North East, Beechworth (12/31/2008)
light golden honey in color. a wonderful nose - predominately honeysuckle and beeswax with some kaffir lime and some hints of quince. wood that was noticeable on release is now completely integrated with the malo notes into a creamy and lush mouth feel. superb palate depth with enough acidity left to clean up the finish. this wine is definitely not past its drinking window but i would probably drink over the next year or two.
