  • TN: 1989 Simi Reserve Cab

Had the reserve cab tonight, with Snake River steaks, oven potato/onions, and my wife's homemade salad.

First, there is nothing like a fresh green salad; with arugala, salad bowl, red leaf, capers, hearts of palm, etc. The Simi reserve was very nice, with notes of licorice, tar, cherries and strawberries. The tannins were just about perfect, so drink up, in my opinion. The Snake River NY Strips were "good," which at their price pker. is not "good" in my mind.
