  • TN: Dugat-Py 1993 Gevrey-Chambertin VV

I posted this in the '93 Burgundy thread already, but realized that is someone searched only titles, they would not find the note.

Dugat-Py 1993 Gevrey-Chambertin VV at Lola in Dallas. A really lovely wine at a great price on the wine list that fellow forumite Van Roberts maintains. Great nose of sous bois, mushrooms, and talc. Very nice red and black fruit flavors, with tart pie cherries and black rasberries predominate. Tannins are fading away. A touch more aciidity than I would prefer, but drinking quite nicely. Will last another 5 years, at least. 91 points.
